This paper examines the literary text A House for Mr. Biswas in order to explore psychological, geographical, cultural and social alienation displacement of migrant people. It makes exploration how central character, Mohan search identity based on root. Displacement gives birth feeling rootness. is displaced again exclusively as well inclusively. The people who migrate other countries any reason feel nostalgia their homeland left behind a fear strange land that homelessness. explains difficulties psychological anguish which create fragmentation within person colonial world. novel attempts reveal hardships postcolonial people, endure self- self-esteem Caribbean society. V.S. Naipaul presents his experience dislocation through struggles survival feels alienated, fragmented, dislocated, rootless. So, this research explores Naipaul's struggle protagonist milieu.
